WIC Services Update
October 07, 2020
The Florida Department of Health in Martin County Women, Infants and Children nutrition program (WIC) is pleased to help local families by providing most services by email, telephone and technology. WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for pregnant and post-partum women, infants and children up to 5 years old, who meet income and nutrition risk requirements.
Good nutrition is crucial during times of rapid growth and development and to prevent illness. Martin County WIC clients receive nutrition counseling and breastfeeding support by phone. Benefits are remotely loaded on an EBT card to purchase specific healthy foods at local grocers.
WIC staff is available by appointment in Stuart and Indiantown if services are needed in person.
Please call (772) 221-4986 with any questions.
