May 19, 2020

In anticipation of afternoon rainstorms, the Florida Department of Health is adjusting the COVID-19 testing schedule in Golden Gate to begin at 10:00 am tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20.

While supplies last and weather permitting, drive-thru and walk-up COVID-19 testing will begin at 10:00 am at the Cassidy Center in Golden Gate, 2895 SE Fairmont St.

The testing initiative was made possible through the collaboration of many community partners, including the Florida Department of Health in Martin County, Banner Lake Club, City of Stuart, Cleveland Clinic Martin Health, Martin County Board of County Commissioners, Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Salvation Army, St Joseph Catholic Church and the Village of Indiantown.

All residents are urged to continue with prevention methods including good handwashing, covering coughs and sneezes, staying home when you are sick, cleaning high touch surfaces and wearing cloth face coverings when social distancing is not possible.
