Department of Health Recognizes World AIDS Day December 1

In recognition of World AIDS Day on December 1, The Florida Department of Health in Martin County is hosting a series of outreach events to offer free testing for HIV/STDs and Hepatitis C.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than 36-million people are living with HIV worldwide. In the United States, it is estimated that more than 1-million people are living with HIV and 1 in 7 don’t know it. Increasing testing and treatment are the first steps to stopping the spread of the virus.

Free HIV/STD & Hepatitis C testing available: no appointment is needed
