Community Health Fair

Residents are invited to take part in free health screenings, enjoy nutritious snacks and learn more about community resource during a health fair on Saturday, October 7 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the 10thStreet Complex in East Stuart.
The event sponsored by Martin Health System will feature free adult and pediatric flu shots, HIV/STD testing, pediatric dental screenings, adult health screenings and more.
“We are proud to partner with Martin Health System and others to bring this important event to our residents.” said Karlette Peck, Health Officer for the Florida Department of Health in Martin County. “Providing these screenings and information helps to build health equity in our community by eliminating the barriers to care and providing residents with the tools and information to become more connected to their healthcare needs.”
Representatives from many community agencies including the Florida Department of Health in Martin County, Volunteers in Medicine Clinic, Gertrude Walden Child Care Center, City of Stuart, The Links and Tykes and Teens will participate in the event.
