FL Department of Health recognizes National Latino AIDS Awareness Day

In recognition of National Latino AIDS Awareness Day, celebrated on October 15, the Florida Department of Health is offering a free testing on Friday, October 27, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at 3441 SE Willoughby Blvd., Stuart. Everyone is invited to come to the health department to get tested and learn more about HIV/AIDS, no appointment is needed.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Hispanics/Latinos accounted for about one quarter of all HIV diagnoses in the United States, though they make up 18% of the population.
