Free HIV/STD Testing

Martin County, FL – In recognition of National Latino AIDS Awareness Day, celebrated on October 15, the Florida Department of Health is offering a series of free testing and education events throughout the month of October.

“All residents, regardless of race, are encouraged to participate.” said Grethel Clark, Epidemiology Program Manager for the Florida Department of Health. “Knowing your status is the first step to stopping the spread of HIV and STDs.”

Over the past three years, the number of newly reported HIV infection cases has risen by 26% in the state of Florida.
