Safe Kids Treasure Coast, DOH-Martin and partners offer free car seats and safety checks: Saturday, May 13 in Stuart 

The Florida Department of Health in Martin County (DOH-Martin) is proud to partner with Safe Kids Treasure Coast, Sunshine Health, Stuart Police, Stuart Fire Rescue, Cleveland Clinic Martin and Martin County Healthy Start to offer free child car seats and car seat inspections for Martin County families in need.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 13, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Stuart Fire Rescue Complex, 800 SE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Stuart.

One of first steps to ensuring that your child is safe inside a car is to ensure that they are secured in the correct car seat for their weight and age and that the seat is properly installed.

No appointments are needed. A limited number of free car seats are available for those in need. For more information, contact Safe Kids at 772-462-3501.
