DOH-Martin - Use Caution Booking Online Appointments: news release

By Renay Rouse

January 20, 2021

The Florida Department of Health in Martin County (DOH-Martin) has learned of fake Eventbrite sites posing as the Department of Health and offering appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine. DOH-Martin has notified Eventbrite, as well as local and state law enforcement of these fake sites.

“The City of Stuart Police has been notified of this issue and we are working to confirm all legitimate reservations for our vaccination clinics on Thursday and Friday of this week.” said Carol Ann Vitani, DOH-Martin Health Officer.

DOH-Martin is scheduling COVID-19 vaccine appointments week to week, based on supply. There are two vaccination clinics scheduled for this week, by appointment only, on Thursday, January 21 and Friday, January 22 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm at 3441 SE Willoughby Blvd., Stuart.

Until this situation is resolved, DOH-Martin is suspending all online registration appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine via Eventbrite. Please monitor our website for information and updates: www.MartinCountyHealth.com
