Martin County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Martin County (DOH-Martin) recognizes June 6 of each year as Revive Awareness and invites the public to attend this year’s event on Friday, June 5, 2026.
The event will be held from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.at:

Revive Awareness Day raises awareness about the importance of overdose prevention, education, and access to lifesaving resources.
Attendees will learn how to spot the signs of an overdose, how to use naloxone to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, and what resources and programs are available locally to support individuals living with substance use disorder. Free naloxone will also be available at the event.
No preregistration is required. The event is free and open to the public.
What to Do if You Think Someone is Overdosing
If you suspect someone has overdosed, call 911 immediately.
Administer naloxone (Narcan) if available, lay the person on their side to prevent choking, and try to keep them awake and breathing until emergency assistance arrives.
What is Naloxone?
Naloxone (Narcan) is a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Free naloxone kits can be obtained at DOH-Martin locations in Stuart and Indiantown.
