In recognition of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, the Florida Department of Health in Martin County is offering free HIV, STD and Hepatitis C testing. No appointment is needed and some results are available in about 15-minutes. Health Department staff will also offer education, counseling and connection to treatment, if needed.
National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day was established to raise awareness, encourage testing and prevention methods in the Black/African American population, who are disproportionately affected by the virus.
