Our Epidemiology Division works to prevent the spread of disease in our community. Our staff provides information and education for medical practitioners and the community in order to detect, track and prevent the spread of disease. The division staff is responsible for monitoring, investigating and reporting all communicable diseases including HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis and vaccine preventable diseases. HIV testing, pre and post test counseling is available, as well as referral to our AIDS Drug Assistance (ADAP) Program. The Epidemiology Division also hosts a series of community outreach events throughout the year to promote HIV prevention.
