Martin County Community Health Improvement Plan

Working in partnership with the Health Council of Southeast Florida and many community partners, the Florida Department of Health in Martin County announces the completion of the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP),  a five year plan which identifies goals, resources and strategies for improving the health needs of residents.

Three priority areas have been identified:

• Raise Awareness of Existing Health & Human Services
• Promote the importance of and educate the community about the importance of School Health
• Increase opportunities for physical activity and reduce Obesity rates
