Working in partnership with Martin County Emergency Management and the Medical Reserve Corps, the Florida Department of Health in Martin is hosting a series of special clinics to offer the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine.

Vaccinations will be offered at the Treasure Coast Square Mall, 3066 NW Federal Highway, Jensen Beach, May 26, 27, 28 and 29. The clinics are offered on a walk-in basis and everyone age 12 and older is eligible to receive the vaccine, which is administered as a two-shot series, approximately 21-days apart. A parent or guardian must be present for those age 17 and younger.

The Pfizer vaccine has proven to be safe and effective at protecting against the COVID-19 virus. Based on clinical trials, the vaccine has a 95% efficacy rate.

DOH-Martin will continue to offer second shots of the Moderna vaccine at the mall location through June 4.
